Plan ahead whilst shopping this Christmas

Shoppers are being urged to plan ahead and think about when’s the best time for a stress-free and safe shopping experience in Plymouth’s fantastic stores.

Diane Mansell, Chief Executive of Plymouth Waterfront Partnership said: “Our waterfront businesses can’t wait to welcome you back when they reopen for the lead up to Christmas.

“With our family friendly Polar Bear Trail returning on 5 December as a covid-safe festive activity it’s the perfect opportunity to get in some Christmas shopping and enjoy a walk in the fresh air. We hope that families and shoppers are able to come out and enjoy a safe and enjoyable time whilst supporting our fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants.”

The best time to shop and how to shop safely should be at the top of people’s shopping lists as they plot and plan their trips in the run up to Christmas.

With the lockdown lifting and non-essential shops due to open on 2 December, we are, together with the Council and the City Centre Company are working with retailers to make sure measures are in place to keep people safe this Christmas.
