Plymouth Waterfront Partnership BID is one of two within the city. Since 2012 Plymouth Waterfront BID has delivered two five-year business plans including seventy projects, targeted more than £16.6m, consistently delivered a 5:1 return on business investment and recently won a Special Recognition award from British BIDs.

 

Plymouth Waterfront Partnership is now looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and dynamic Waterfront Manager to lead the BID team forward for the remainder of the current business plan and then into a new term from 2022 onwards. This exciting role will require a self-starting, motivated individual with an ability to manage delivery of the BID to meet business plan targets and bring in fresh ideas. The successful candidate will manage relationships with many different stakeholders, from private sector business owners to local organisations and public agencies.

 

Our ideal candidate will have have significant experience of working in Business Improvement Districts or Town Centre Management roles as a senior manager and provide strategic and operational management leading from the front. Project management experience is essential, as are strong budgeting, operations and business management skills.

 

The candidate must demonstrate great relationship management and networking skills, plus sound knowledge of private and public sector working and local community dynamics. Above all, we are looking for someone with passion and commitment to deliver on key objectives and promote the BID.

 

A salary commensurate with experience will be offered. The successful candidate will have 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
