Film testing a Rollei B35
The Rollei 35 is a miniature camera that was first introduced at Photokina in 1966. At the time this was the smallest 35mm camera available.
Approximately two million Rollei 35’s were made, right up until 2015.
This particular model, the B35 was made between 1969 and the mid 1970s.
They took the camera with a roll of Ilford FP4 film to Plymouth Hoe to shoot some photos at Plymouth Bike Nights.
The camera is easy to use with a built in light meter and a lens you have to set the distance for focusing. It was fun to shoot such a small camera that fits into the palm of your hand. As it is so small you have to be careful to keep your fingers out of the way of the lens when taking photos.
This camera comes with its original camera case, strap and instruction booklet.
Call in and see The Camera Shop in New Street on the Barbican, or check out www.soperfectimages.co.uk for their latest camera arrivals, photography projects and workshops.
Please enjoy the photos and Russell looks forward to seeing you for all your film photography needs.
