Here are some examples of the way in which our fantastic Waterfront community is getting involved in this year’s Plymouth Pirate Weekend

Atwell Martin in Southside Street

Atwell Martin are giving away 250 crab lines and buckets over Pirate Weekend. Pop by the shop to collect them while stocks last.

West Hoe Park

In addition to the Sand Sculpture and the fun-filled Pirate-themed Treasure Island Fun Park activities, West Hoe Park are offering 20% off the children’s rides – train, cups ‘n saucers, bouncy castle and bungee jump.

Jack Sparrow and his nemesis Captain Barbossa will be visiting the area between 10.30 and 11.30am for selfies.

Commercial Wharf Slip Way

Plymouth and Devon Schools Sailing Association are offering 1 hour workshops / taster sessions in kayaking, sailing, raft building. Places are limited and booking is advised:

Café Kiss on North Street

Café Kiss will be projecting pirate-themed movies onto their exterior wall over the weekend for families to enjoy.

Movies will be played back to back and include:

- Long John Silver - The Spanish Main - Captain Kidd - The Black Pirate
