Tickets cost £6.50 for an adult and £3.50 for children, tickets are available on the boats.
Derek Smith, Harbourmaster, Royal William Yard, said: "It will be a fantastic way to travel and we very much hope will positively impact the tourism economy at The Barbican, Royal William Yard and Mount Edgecumbe. Plymouth's waterfront is one of the best in the world - as has been noted in the City Of Culture 2017 bid - and this is a brilliant way to see it."
Jean Knight, Owner, Cremyll Ferry said: "This is the first time we have collaborated in this way to make ferry travel as easy as possible for visitors and commuters. We are very excited about its potential and urge people to come down to the ferries and give it a try."
Nathan Cornish, Director, Urban Splash said: "With Wagamama, River Cottage, Las Iguanas and Bistro Pierre all now open at The Yard, it's more important than ever that people try alternative transport routes, and have experience of The Yard by water. We applaud Cremyll and Royal William Yard Ferries for this positive step in creating a connected waterfront transport system."
Sarah O’Leary, Waterfront Manager said “Coupled with the history, scenery and attractions, the experience of exploring Plymouth’s Waterfront area by ferry is unrivalled. It’s fantastic news our ferry operators are working together to provide an enhanced visitor experience.”
