Covid-19 Business Support: Reopening to the public safely

This page contains information all related to the reopening of businesses to the public on the Waterfront starting with 15th June for retailers.


Further dates will be announced soon by the Government for other sectors including hospitality, leisure, tourism and more.


  • 15th June [Retail Sector] All non-essential retailers will be able to re-open from June 15, provided they adhere to new safety guidelines to protect shoppers and workers.   • 4th July [Pubs, restaurants, B&Bs, hotels and hairdressers] Can reopen from 4th July, providing they are 'Covid-19 secure'.
